What we collect
Your email address, if you enter it to join the list. That is the only personal data this site asks for. We do not sell anything here, so there is no name, address, or payment detail to collect. Our web host records standard server logs, including truncated IP addresses, for security and to keep the site up.

Why, and on what basis
To send you two emails: the batch certificates when they publish, and word when the jars go on sale. The basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and you can withdraw it from the unsubscribe link in any email. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure site.

How long we keep it
Your email address until you unsubscribe, or until the list has been dormant for twenty-four months, whichever comes first. Server logs for ninety days. When we delete, we delete — there is no archived copy.

Who else sees it
Our email platform and our web host, as processors acting on our instructions and nothing else. We do not sell, rent or trade your address, and we do not pass it to advertisers. If you buy from our Amazon listing, that transaction is between you and Amazon under their privacy notice — we never see your payment or delivery details.

Cookies
This site sets the cookies it needs to work, and Squarespace, who host it, record basic visit analytics, including which pages were opened, the country a visit came from, and the site it arrived from. We set no advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share what we collect. Non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them, and the cookie banner lets you change your mind at any time.

Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email privacy@candornutrition.com and we will answer within one month. We will not ask you why.

Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, and you do not need our permission to do so.
